INVITATION TO BID
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be accepted at the Eddy County Administration Complex at the County Manager’s Office, Carlsbad, New Mexico, for the construction of the:
Eddy County
Administration Complex Remodel
Carlsbad, New Mexico
Eddy County Project Number B-10-11
According to Drawings and Specifications prepared by NCA ARCHITECTS, PA, and described in general as:
The scope of work for this project consists of site grading; remodel of areas on all three floor levels including demolition of walls/ceiling/floors, metal stud wall construction, floor/ceiling/wall finishes, mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems upgrades; enclosure additions at the west and south sides of the building to include site and building demolition, exterior metal stud wall construction with brick veneer and stucco finishes, interior metal stud wall construction, floor/ceiling/wall finishes, mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems.
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the Eddy County Administration Building on Thursday July 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
Sealed bids will be received at the Eddy County Administration Building, County Manager’s Office, 101 West Greene Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico 88220, until:
Tuesday July 13, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.
Bids will be opened and read aloud at that time and that place. Bids received after that time will not be accepted. Interested parties are invited to attend.

Bona fide general contract bidders may secure copies of the proposed Contract Documents from Albuquerque Reprographics, Inc.: (505) 884-0862.
1. Copies of the Specifications and Construction Documents can be obtained upon payment of a $150/set deposit, made out to Eddy County, completely refundable if returned to NCA Architects, postpaid, in satisfactory condition, within (10) calendar days after bid opening.
2. No partial sets will be issued.
Bid security in the amount of 5% of the base bid will be required to accompany bids.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularity in the bids and in the bidding. |
